Human Capital Manager
Position Overview
The Human Capital Manager is responsible for providing HR support across the business. The successful candidate will partner with management to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives, ensure legislative compliance, strengthen organisational capability and foster a high-performance culture.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement the Human Capital strategy in partnership with leadership to support business objectives and workforce planning.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to attract and retain high-performing employees.
- Lead employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, retrenchment and CCMA matters, while ensuring compliance with labour legislation.
- Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning to build organisational capability.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including Skills Development planning and statutory submissions.
- Oversee remuneration, employee benefits and payroll governance to ensure fair and compliant reward practices.
- Ensure effective HR governance and compliance, including Employment Equity, Skills Development, BBBEE and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and analyse HR metrics, management reports and statutory reporting to support informed decision-making.
- Foster employee engagement and organisational culture.

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ Human Capital experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
- Strong experience in labour relations, including CCMA representation.
- Strong working knowledge of South African labour legislation.
- Experience in Employment Equity, Skills Development and BBBEE.
Requirements & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
