In addition to this, we maintain a strong focus on the ethical and humane use of animals in all scientific activities. Our Deltamune Animal Research Ethics Committee (DAREC) is registered with the National Health Research Ethics Council (Reg. No. AREC‑260612‑012) and operates in full compliance with SANS 10386:2021, the South African standard governing the care and use of animals for scientific purposes. Our capabilities range from commercial and autogenous vaccine production to custom-made solutions, with batch sizes varying from 60 to 2700 liters.

The skilled team of bacteriologists, virologists, and biotechnologists is committed to producing safe, effective, and stable vaccines. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality control testing, adhering to the highest standards.

Our Achievements

Deltamune was the winner of the 2010 Best Quality Service Award for small to medium enterprises. These awards are conferred to recognise contributions made by both large and small to medium enterprises in the quest of achieving excellence both in products and services across all sectors of the South African economy.

The company was the first winner in their category for these awards. This was an initiative established by government, through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The aim was to promote quality and adopt effective quality management methodologies by South African enterprises in the improvement industrial competitiveness.

We also received a certificate of recognition for their contribution to quality during the 2011 Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Quality Awards.

Deltamune has been honoured with a Certificate of Merit by the South African Poultry Association (SAPA). This prestigious recognition, that was awarded unanimously by the SAPA Board, highlights our contributions to the poultry sector and reinforces our commitment to advancing animal health and food security.
