Position Purpose

This is a senior appointment to our Leadership Team and the successful candidate will assist with the strategy and development of long-term plans for our Company. The role is to drive the profitability of the business with strong leadership and innovative support for the growth and sustainability of Deltamune through achieving sales targets and building long-term and successful relationships with prospects, clients and the market.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop a growth strategy in line with the Company strategy
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Researching, planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients including a pricing strategy.
  • Researching new projects for the R&D team
  • Maintaining a CRM database
  • Reporting of sales and sales pipeline to management

Qualifications:
  • A registered Veterinarian or Veterinarian nurse would be preferable
  • A proven sales track record and marketing ability
Knowledge / Experience:
  • Poultry or ruminant or sales industry experience would be preferable
  • Building good/ strong relationships with customers
  • Experience at Senior Management level
Skills / Attributes / Competencies:
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Irregular working hours from time to time.
